Environmental Sustainability

NASCO has long been a leader in building sustainability into everything that we do, and we are keen to remain in the vanguard of this effort. Sustainability is about preserving our world for future generations, and our philosophy is about promoting a business that is friendly to the natural environment. Our company is committed to reducing the impact of our activities on the environment throughout the entire value chain. We do this by enhancing our operations and by using our resources more efficiently. Moreover, we are continuously investing in new processes and technologies that will help minimize the effects of our operations. Our aim is to drive constant improvements that benefit our company as well as the environment.

NASCO has been working closely with the National Environmental Standards & Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA) to develop and institute new mechanisms for ensuring a safer and cleaner environment across every part of the business. In all our production sites, we have been implementing practices in the areas of water management, energy efficiency and waste reduction. Throughout our distribution network, we are constantly looking at ways to reduce energy consumption and carbon footprint. We seek opportunities to make more of our products with sustainable materials and to find ways to recycle our packaging. All our employees bear responsibility for this effort and make important contributions within their spheres of influence. This has helped NASCO build an excellent reputation and attain leading market positions everywhere.
