NASCO Group certified by ECOWAS Trade Liberalisation Scheme

NASCO Group has received the ECOWAS Trade Liberalisation Scheme (ETLS) approval for 19 of its brands, allowing it to freely export them across West Africa without hindrance.  The ETLS stipulates that the exported products must be wholly produced within the sub-region, with at least 60% of the raw materials originating from within the ECOWAS member states.  The ETLS confers several benefits to qualified entities across the sub-region which include increase in market access, duty free and quota free for registered and certified products, expanded promotion of economic integration within the West African sub-region, participation in international trade fairs within the sub-region at government expense, as well as access to loans and grants from the federal government and other multi-lateral agencies.
